Genesis Bell is writing a blog to defend herself from the lies being spread by CJ, one of her ex-best friends.  CJ and Tasha could get any guy they wanted and while they were out making new conquests, Genesis would cover for them with their current boyfriends.  Things got a little out of hand with CJ's boyfriend Nick who ended up kissing Genesis.  When Genesis finally confessed her indiscretion to CJ and Tasha, they didn't believe her.  Then Tasha's boyfriend needed some comforting . . .

The biggest problem with this novel is the format.  Genesis decides to write this blog because she heard that CJ was going to write her own blog about the events that happened two months ago.  Two months ago??  Who cares??  Apparently only 3 people because that's how many comment on her blog.  And she takes a month to tell the story.  If she's so worried about CJ telling the story first, why would she spend a whole month telling her side?  Also, some of the chapters are too long for a blog -- 19 pages is a book chapter, not a blog entry.

Having thoroughly trashed the format of the novel, I have to say the story itself isn't bad.  Genesis is a likeable character, even though most of the secondary characters are one-dimensional.  It would be a nice piece of fluff if it weren't for the off-putting format.  Libraries that aren't on a super-strict budget will want it since it's paperback and has a cute, but somewhat childish, cover.
