Fans of Hunter's Warriors series will enjoy her new series that features the younger characters in their own adventure.  A terrible danger threatens the forest and the warrior ancestors have appeared in dreams to members of each of the four clans.  Brambleclaw, the chosen warrior from Thunder Clan, struggles to follow the warrior code while at the same time honoring the wishes of the ancestors.  But the signs from the ancestors are never clear and the path before the young warriors is uncertain . . .

The first few chapters rehash some of the events from the previous series, so it's a bit slow to get started.  However, this rehashing allows readers who are new to the series to pick up the gist of the story fairly quickly.  Once Brambleclaw realizes that his dream vision is real, the pace moves along quickly.  The character names are sometimes confusing, but the individual personalities of the main characters soon emerge.  Recommended to cat lovers and adventure fans.
