Thanks! Glad you enjoyed MARKED. And what a lovely compliment to say it's a better fantasy than TWILIGHT (of which I'm a hugh fan). BETRAYED will be out in October, and CHOSEN follows in March. Kristin and I have just agreed to write books 4, 5, and 6, too. Oh, and I promise the romance aspect heats up in the next books.

I enjoyed this book so much that I thought Betrayed was out now! The story has captivated me from the very beginning. I like the plot, the twists and the characters. Ideas like this book and Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series are a big delight to people. I enjoyed Marked very much and it has become my favorite book out of many. I hope there is a little more romance but also action in the next book. Vampire stories like this story and Twilight are a good thrill.

OH MY GOD I LUV THESE BOOKS! THERE SO TOTALLY AWESOME! I READ MARKED IN A DAY (CAUSE I READ THROUGH ALL MY CLASSES):)AND BETRAYED IN TWO DAYS (A WEEKEND THANK GOD I DID NOT GET A DETENTION AGAIN, LIKE LAST TIME WHEN I READ MARKED IN MY CLASSES,BUT IM USE TO IT.) READ THESE BOOKS THERE AWESOME! I READ BOTH BOOKS IN 3 DAYS IN OCTOBER, AND CANT WAIT TILL THE NEXT ONE COMES OUT.

When I first read Marked I was very interested and intuned with the story. I loved it so much it kept me off the edge of my seat. As soon as I bought the second book, Betrayed..I was hooked! I could not put the book down! I seriously felt like I was there with Zoey and everyone else in the House of Night! I can't wait til Chosen comes out in March! :)

I LOVE the House of Night novels! You two should think about making them into a movie! They would be hits in no time! There should be some more romance between Erik and Zoey but besides that they are amazing. Are you really planning on making and 4, 5, and 6th? That would be so cool.

I absolutey love both of the books!!!! i read Marked in two days and Betrayed in one...the were both so amazing!!!! I've never really read a book that made me feel what the charater was feeling!!! let alone cry...i've never cried because of a book...this was my first time...and i was awsome!!!! (i know i'm starting to soung like a true dork)...but i abslutey enjoy your books and you have a blessed life!!!

I loved this book! its one of my favorite nows! and i also love twilight! but these two are so amazing! i was hooked from the begning! And they did not have betrayed so we had to order it but i can't wait for it to come in!

I jusy have to say that this book is amazing. I'm a fan of the Twilight series and Peeps . This book quickly became one of my other favorites and I actually just finished reading Betrayed. It was so sad that I actually cried! I do have to say though as much as I love Twilight, that this book is definetly easier to read, and way more fun because of the language in it. I loved her little remarks on everything and the end of Betrayed was kind of cute too. When Zoey is talking to her dead best friend. And they have this whole superdramatic conversation. That just totally threw you off. This series is definetly inspiring. I want chosen to come out already!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait.

OMG!!!! I love these books!!! Zoey is such an awesome character, and Damiens pretty sweet as well, there should definately be more Damien, he's so cool!!!!!! I know Chosen is coming out in March but is there a specific date?

hey i like totally love this book! most of the time i dont read at all. thats why my reading grade is so low. but these book are amazing i love them thank you so much for writing these. i even skipped my normal mall visit to read MARKED! most of the people who know thought i was sick . never stop writing these books. i cant wait for the next one to come out!

OMG as soon as i finished MARKED i wanted to run back to the book store and buy Betrayed but my mom wouldnt let me. i was so mad at her but i found out one of my friends has it so i'm goona borrow it from her, i just cant wait to read it. I'm dying from anticipation.

oh my gosh. i have to say these books are the best. you guys really know how to connect to a teenagers life but with a lot more drama. i was just wondering if you have a date for when Untamed comes out because i would love to buy it on the first day it comes out :D love the books so don't stop making them :]

OMG! thease books are awesome. They are the best books i have ever read (besides the twilight series) I love how you have the whole House of Night thing. I alos thought it was cool when you arent bitten to become a vampyre (vampire) you are marked ont he forehead. That fasinated me! I love thease books. I jsut started Betrayed and cant wait to read Chosen and untamed!

We read the first four chapters and laughed. This book is one of the most unrealistic, shallow, and insulting teen fantasties either of us have ever read. The main character, Zoey, seems to have her priorities exceedingly out of order if she's more scared of being an Emo than a monster, and repeatedly mentions fashion in dire circumstances. She is an obvious Mary-Sue, which is defined by Wikipedia as ''a fictional character who plays a major role in the plot on such a scale that suspension of disbelief fails due to the character's traits, skills and abilities being tenuously or inadequately justified. Such a character is particularly characterized by overly idealized and clichéd mannerisms, lacking noteworthy flaws, and primarily functioning as wish-fulfillment fantasies for their authors.' Her home life is obvious cheap shot at gaining sympathy from the reader. Such books should not be published, let alone sold to the general public. Best Regards, Zolo and Victoria

hello there. So you probably heard this a milion times, or you are hearing this for the first time. I'm not exactly sure so I'll just shut up and get to the point. You should make Marked into a movie type thing. That would be totaly awesome. (: Let me just say this I was obsessed over twilight, and her other books. But OMG i love this so much. Even though betrayed made me cried when Stevie rae died. :( lol Oh welll. But ERIK IS A HOTTIE tehe =] anywho. yeah I'll shut up now. peace out!

Hey I loved your books. they are so freaking awsome i loved Marked, how much of a bitch can Aphrodite be? and Erik, every time he comes into the story my stomach flutters. Damien is SOO awsome too. he is what a real guy friend should be, a male opinion that doesn't want to touch your boobies. lol Stevie Rae made me so sad when she died she so didn't deserve it. she was so caring and sensitive and like the best friend any one would want. Erin and Shaunee remind me of the girls that are thick as thieves and argue but in truth are closer than blood could ever make them. Neferet is sneaky and some times i think that Zoey is way over her head when it comes to her, but then again Neferet has some kinda lame gifts if you ask me in comparisson to Zoey. Zoey's grandma is the best. she is like the perfect grandmother. the type that is proud of her ansestry and loves her grandaughter more than the world. but i don't understand how when Zoey and her granmother are so wonderfully close her sister and brother don't seem to ever really come into the story. OHHHH by the way i love the eye color choice you chose for Z she like me has that green doesn't want to be brown but must have a hint of it though color. it's great i think, it makes me feel unique because all the people i know have blue or brown or regular green eyes but mine are that slightly off shade. Heath kind of annoys me at times. he needs a new girlfriend or something because obsession is so not attractive but to me niether is meat headedness. anyways i can't write anymore because i might just explode with questions so... i'll stop writing now... --Kaylee B--ok i lied i'll stop writing NOW

OMG!!! i loved Marked so much that i read it in a day and did my book report on it. The book hooks you instantly with the characters being so life like and the other books are just as amazing.

OMG!!! i LURVEEEE these books! they are AMAZINGGG! i absolutely NEVER read and other than twilight, i read marked, betrayed, chosen, and untamed in a week(all in the same week)! They totally captivated me. I agree that you should for sure make these into a movie! i recently finish reading the twilight books and found myself addicted haha i was wondering is this book like the twilight saga ???? is it better or worse ?? please give your honest oppion cause i dont want to by the book read 30 or 50 pages and find out i hate it and it was a waste of time to even bother

When I started reading this book, I was a bit freaked out. I didn't really want to keep reading because it was weird but I did because I had bought that book. I'm really glad I did because it gets so much better! I'm so excited to read the second!!

The fifth book in the series, Hunted, is coming out on March 10.

If you're looking for something to read in the meantime, check out The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. It's similar enough to The House of Night series that I think you'll like it, but different enough to be worth the read.

For the person who asked how this series is compared to Twilight . . . apples and oranges. Twilight is a love story about Bella, a human, and Edward, a vampire. Most humans don't know that vampires are real, and you want to find out if their love can overcome all of their differences.

The House of Night series is a fantasy about a world where some humans are chosen by a goddess to become vampires. Zoey is one of the chosen few and the story is about her growing into her powers, forming relationships with others - both human and vampire, and also solving a mystery that surrounds her boarding school.

Both are vampire stories and both are great reads, but that's about the only thing they have in common.

I love the House of night series. I like it even more then twilight! It's just so awesome because it's full of action and also the problems of growing up

anyone who thinks this series is better than twilight is completely insane!!! yes i agree some though, this series is AMAZING. but twilight is...i cannot even explain it. it is just the best of the best, ya know? well you prolly don't since you like this better... but you get what i mean. :-p

OMG!!!!! i amm an obsessive Twilight fan i mean i even have a bookbag and the boardgame but now after i read these books i think that marked is better than twilight!!!!!!!! I mean cmon no one in Marked compares to edward but i think damien is sooo close! I love Damien he would be a girls best friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE DAMIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. my favorite characters in order are Damien, Stevie Rae, Erin, Shaunee, Aphrodite, Heath, Lenobia, Stark. OMG! Zoey is sooo mean she needs to pick Heath, Erik, or Stark. honestly i didn't think erik should hav forgiven her for cheating on him with loren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
