The Chicks with Sticks return!  Their friendship is still going strong despite the obstacles faced during the last year. This year, the friends will face a new obstacle and source of drama in their friendship- boys!  Tay and Amanda have committed relationships while Bella has sworn off boys and Scottie dreams of a boyfriend of her own.  The Chicks boy-drama add tension to their friendship and the girls soon find themselves at odds.  The teen angst and drama in this book is off the charts (though realistic).  I did not enjoy this installment as much as the previous one- I found it was harder to get into and had a little too much teen angsty drama.  Scottie's narration frustrated me and I felt the story focused too much on her desire to obtain a boyfriend (her boy drama seemed very middle school, as opposed to the boy drama of Tay and Amanda).  A disappointing sequel, but the book will still have its audience among knitting fans and middle school girls (though beware of a scene in which the girls go to a college party where people (not the Chicks) are drinking).
